Magnum Donzi?

I drag my younger Brother down for dog babysitting duties, every time I leave town. His Birthday is coming up so after asking him what he wanted, we went ATV shopping today. Small town Central Washington, mainly farming community. The place we stopped at sells, Bayliners, and aluminum fishing boats, along with ATVs. It was the last place I expected to see sitting neglected on racks, a approximately 27’ old school offshore with powered by Mercury and Magnum Donzi on the side! Not sure the HP but Mercury egg beater powered. Sales guy said its the owners race boat. The people who work their say its not for sale. Racing number 303 also on the side of all white hull.

The owner/former racers dealership link: http://www.bobfeil.com/

I'll try and sneak a picture.......

Yes, almost the same boats. Except all white and the Magnum Donzi was written further back and outboard powered.

Please post a picture! The original "Maltese Magnum" is being restored near Seattle. This would be a great find. What engines are on it? They use to run triple 135 HP Mercs.

I could not get a stern view only port side and from a distance. Hard to explain, how jammed in this poor neglected Magnum is being stored. Overall though amongst brand new Bayliner's still gorgeous! She might have triples. :cool-smiley-011:

The owner of the dealership was into Unlimited Hydros in the 1970's (racing)..... Seattle has a group much like HORBA but with Hydro's and they have had restored ones on display at that dealership.

I'm going to see if I can sneak pictures, owners son who runs the place. Well, he was a little rude about reply about selling Her.

I tried getting Her. Asked sales guy. He said: "with Bob every thing's for sale!" My answer: "well lets ask how much" We asked the parts counter guy and he said not likely. Owners son passed by and we asked him. His answer made me think they might have stole it! Firm no way!
