I think there is one guy, but he's not very active. Ask Kurt/Biggus on here. I think they have done 2 12 meter's with Konrads and ran very well. My buddy has them on his 1990 42 and it runs well. The 12 meters a great boat, we used to own one!!

Joe, including yours, to date we have done three 12 Meter Fountains.
The first one was done by Maximum Performance in Delaware. I believe he's running 700-750 hp. It was converted spring '05 This could be the boat Dan is referring to.
The other one was converted by Mid Coast Performance not far from you in Patchauge. Converted spring '06 Also works great.

Kurt

Probably little difference than a Cig 38. Same basic bottom and weight.

If you think about it, what else could you put on it? A III conversion would require major surgery and expense and you still have an obsolete drive with hard-to-find parts and expensive props. And the same power handling capacity but no warranty. You could do XR's but you'd need the same major surgery plus a motor move. Your prop and parts availability would be solved but my guess is you'd end up on a first-name basis with an outdrive tech. That boat's no flyweight. Don't forget a new set of tails for the exhaust with anything else.
