What engines raced in Formula 233's

Guys
What engines were raced in 233's?
2 x 1 drive 200's?
2 x 1 drive 165's
1 x (early) II drives? 409's?

.....mmmmmm Volvo 250, 270's?

Me, 400 hp Interceptor, v drive
Aronow, 409 Merc #II
Wishnick 409 turbo Daytona v drive.

Did the twin MerCruisers not fit a class by the late 70's is that why I dont see any racing?
I guess a single 409 was faster?

The Formulas noted above raced in the mid 60's...not the late 70's.
