And this was two weeks ago in Cowes! Wow!!!! What a joy to see her again!! Now sporting twin Ilmor V10's.

Very cool pics
Just glad that a CUV is back and kickin' butts. |
A perfect then and now Nigel.
Little difference are between the livery of the old and the remake version and plus a modern choice of the power that I can't approve but the new owner have made a good job. |
It's my old CUV, I sold it in March this year to this gentleman in UK. He switch the old Nr5 SSM to Nr 6 and install two Illmor V10 to race around britain but the boat was not ready in time.
I'm happy to see it racing again. Patrick |
Apparently there was a consistant problem with one of the motors, which was sent back and rectified. Now she's sweeeeeet!

Last time we were talking about classic powerboats .We talked about why they cannot be seen racing and why they are scrapped. But now something has changed, a perfect classic restored and racing for its glory. |
Hi ufix1,
you are right in part. Some old boat are restored and we can appreciate their fashion again today. Other old boat instead they risk very much to be lost for ever with total indifference....I don't understand that. |
Very glad to see that she went to a good home and was very nicely restored!
|
Scotty uk,
I 'll try to have some pictures to the boats, one is the former "paul Picot" and the other one is probably the "nooxy" (must be checked) one is with isotta frashini engines ,the boat is running but in poor condition, the second is with brand new seatek engines and is in good condition. I'll contact Tim as soon as i get the pictures, and I can let you know when i'll have all the information regarding the boats. Patrick |
pictures of their current condition and prices I may just know some one interested.
|
I´m here....
Always on the lookout for old crazy projects :) |
