Any interest in a 1976 27' Magnum hull? No engines, drives or hardware. This boat was originally set up for twin TRS drives. Asking $5,500. includes bolsters and bench seat.

Did you find a boat yet?

I am selling two hulls.

-1987 33' Signature or Jaws hull (no trailer, no interior) had twin TRS and big blocks. Boat is white and in okay shape, no damage, but the white is flaking off in a two spots about the size of a grapefruit.

-1987 24' Banana Boat hull (no trailer, complete interior) had single engine outboard. Factory just did a deck off complete restoration of this boat. All that is left is paint, (boat is primed)

Both boats are 7' 10" beam I think.

Jaws - $1000

Banana- $3995

Scott,

Getting back to your question from earlier

I'm pretty sure that is the boat Humberto Picon built as a race boat... the boat then went to Armando "Mandy" Fernandez of Spirit Powerboats which is the last place i saw it. Mandy also ended up with the molds... We used to call that the "Banana Cararra" The last time I saw it she was all grey.

I Painted those stripes when I worked for Trick Paint, We Did all the midnights. Nice to see stuff I did from 25 years ago.

MidOcean 07-05-2009 05:57 PM

You have painted 8 of my boats. Trick was a staple of the 80's perf. boats and an art form in itself.

I remember one of the last ones we did, for kieth sparks, he was a dealer somewhere, anyway it had an extra set of stripes on the deck and he loved it, when he asked me why I did it I had to explain that 1 (one) of my hairs fell right in the middle of the wet paint, and to cover it I had to add a color. They may have never seen it but I knew it was there.

MidOcean 07-05-2009 09:44 PM

You did "Country Boys", When it was sold to Mandy Fernandez, you painted it again as "Damn Carerra " I bought it after that.. If the boat that Scott has is the same one im thinking of... the 39 carerra... you did that one also..."damn carerra."

Did you know Brad and Lee? next to Spirt... 4 doors down from will hoover/ and cobra

fastdonzi 07-06-2009 09:43 AM

We did do allot of Carrera's and Scorpions since they where both right around the corner from Trick. Also I did know most everybody on that block of warehouses where cobra was. I remember doing Craig Barrie's new Scarab there after it flipped, and I did some stuff for Al Sigrini (funny car guy)
