never seen one or heard of it. Thanks The original 38' Pantera is sometimes called the "Phantom". That mold was sold to Scorpion back in 82 when Randy Sosa left the Scorpion partnership and helped form Condor; he took those molds with him. |
Thanks,
This boat is a virgan!Has 204 hrs on it and runs rough water good. |

Two guys, Chino and Alberto, better known as the cho cho's built the beach crafts for a while. The molds were standard and a blocked verson the old Eagle 31 brand that Ralph Barca built . The Cho Cho's were the main riggers at Seahawk. Alberto raced with Me in the P-68 Seahawk boat. Your boat should be a 31 or a 28... It could also be the smaller cc which... those molds were sold to Armando "Mandy" Fernandez at Spirit.

beach's were built down the street from my shop... pretty solid following.... the ones still around are in noticeably good shape for the age...

"Four your eyes only" was one of the first Scorpions built. It had four 2.4's and a matching peterbuilt tractor to tow it. The owners were murdered in 86 and found on hwy 27 by alligator alley. Felix and I go way back.

I remember seeing four your eyes only kept on the yard next to the marina at marine stadium back in the days. Also the Condor brochure used a small pic of the boat about to go under the big bridge in Key Biscayne. Anyone have a pic of that? Pepe post the pic of El Boss with the rig....

Now tell everyone here that you had nothing to do with Starchaser, or any other Apache for that matter, and, when your mom lets you out of the basement you live in, the only chasing you're doing is after some Amish buggy on a PA back road. |

Hey Christian.. I see you are at it again.. One question, why is it that when I call you to discuss whatever your problem is w/ me, your voice jumps 9 octaves... like a pre-op transvestite with one of his nuts in a vice.

do you remember for your eyes only with the outboards it was a mean looking boat with all those motors hanging on the back. I have a friend that used to live next to Felix from Condor that had a 38 Condor just like the ones in the pic, all white with a three man bolster and a cabin that he sold to the guy that used to race the Winston scarab in puerto rico. The guy had Condor redo the entire boat interior rigging exc. and send it to Puerto Rico. Does anyone have any pics of that one?

Condor 30 used the molds from an old company called Veloce. Not velocity, Veloce. They only made a few boats, triple outboards..etc.
Midocea,, I have never seen pics of the boat as Yvo's son said he had some at home but never got the chance to go and take a look.d Do you have any pics of the Veloce boats that you can post? |

I have seen the original Veloce that the owner used to race (Yvo Foirentini) called "Relentless" tucked away on the back of a house in Coral Gables still original condition like it's been sitting there since back then. Thanks to the blue cover and huge tree it looks ok and could be brought back to life but I have been told many times not for sale. I guess they want to make it a flower pot.. We went back with Yvo's son as he wanted to buy it back to restore it for his dad and no go.
