Kustom enterprises boat builders.

Has anybody here ever herd of the boat building company Kustom from West Hollywood Florida that was producing hulls in the mid 80's? I just bought one and it has a striking resemblance to the midnight express 30' in many ways. Any info is greatly appreciated.

IT WAS NOT A 30' MIDNIGHT !!! IT WAS A RABCO FROM THE KIEK/MERC LAKEX TEST BOATS FROM M.E.M. JAX - WITH AN 18" TRANSOM ADD TO PERFECT PROPORTIONS. They were great boats!! I had several. Ran a REAL 65-67 with 235's in 79 and 130 fuel with a "bunch of people". 3-5 seas was nothing! Later Tony P, (who rep.. passed away) boxed at transom, but despite 2mph possible gain-lost graeat handling in rough water. Remember, these were BEFORE lite glass, steps etc! IF YOU WANT TO SELL ONE, LET ME KNOW, I'M INTERESTED. BEST TO YOU-C-27

I remember seeing one long time ago and it did look like a Midnight 30. Can you post pics?

^^^^^ I looked at a new 2010 rabco 28' center console today and it looks like the same boat as my 83' Kustom 29'. Is this Rabco 28' made from the same mold as mine? I would not think so being it's 26 years in between them.
