Don't know if mine counts but it lived under a marina carport for 20+ years.

So many years and many empty wallets later...

My 1977 24' Banana sat in a barn at Lake Cumberland unused for most of it's life. Working on bringing it back to life.

Different engine now, along with a completely re-rigged bilge. Before I bought it, the boat had sat for the last 15-25 years, not exactly sure. The engine that was in the boat when I purchased it knocked like heck once we got it running. I bought the boat from the original owner and I think his recollection of events was off by about a decade. It's not showroom, but it is nice for a nearly 40 year old original and it's a Charlie McCarthy built Banana, which seems to give it some historical significance with the Banana guys. It's too late for me to use it this year, but I am excited for next spring.

Charlie may chime in but that boat looks like a Boat show boat . Either Miami or Ft Lauderdale , I asked my dad being I was 12 at the time and he did not remember what show.

Regardles cool old find and it being a original Chalie boat that much better

It wasn't a boat show boat that I know of. It was ordered and sold to the original owner as a complete boat minus the engine and exhaust. The original owner installed his own engine, exhaust and "rigging." All of his handiwork has been sent to the landfill, a new engine installed and the rest of bilge has been brought up to today's standards. I plan on leaving the boat as original as is reasonable.

bglll,

I think I might have looked at your Banana at Cumberland. I bought Toms 32 Skater.

Here's my barn find. 32 Skater in storage since 2003 with brand new (26 minutes) 300x motors. I sold the hull and trailer, I kept the 300x's.
