Look where the Trim tabs were -black hull - see the blue stripe ? As I remember Vincentive was black with blue stripes - could be wrong - but everything - including the painted windshield point to this as being the Old Vincentive !

This boat is in sad shape. Sitting outside, no cover open to the elements. The engine hatches have fallen in according to sources which means the center support is rotted. I hate to see this, the 38 Bertrams are beautiful boats.

A good reason to save and restore it.

The hatch is in two parts now... Side broke off and landed in the bilge. No telling how long its been that way. Wannabe is probably right about the center support and I have not been back to take a closer look or climb around inside to see how much damage has been caused.Plan to go back as soon as the rain stops
As far as the guy up in Canada is concerned ,I have not herd from him ???

Jim

Forgot that the forward hatch is also missing half way up the bow on the deck.

Pretty sure on the upper starboard side on the Transom - could be under the deck too - not sure - Kurt Goom has my old boat - he is BERTRAM 38 on Serious. - he would know .
