HORBA changes

After much discussion and looking at other sites, we have finally completed the new "model" for the HORBA site.
Since there is so much to cover with the history of the sport, we came up with a new Home Page that will fill out the model below. We want to make it more interactive with our members and especially in the restoration section, we want photos and input from the actual people that did the restoration work. The Block Ads on the side will be direct links to the advertisers that support our site and make it possible to bring all this history to you for free. The ads will climb the side of the page and rotate into a banner ad across the top of the page for 15 or 30 seconds depending on the option the advertisers choose. Angel Martinez I guess John Crouse's death recently, made us more aware that this information will be lost forever if we don't do this. The area of lifestyle is so deep that just these few areas will take quite a few pages to cover......for instance just think of the autos, planes, helicopters and jets that Al Copeland had. One of the former racers from the 70's -80's era, went on to become one of the best custom motorcycle builders today...Eddie Trotta. Rocky Aoki ran a Rolls Royce in the European race to Moscow. Reger Penske of Indy 500 fame bought the first 40 foot Cigarette race boat. etc. etc. etc. etc. LIFESTYLE AUTOMOBILES AUTO RACING WATCHES MOTORCYCLES AVIATION We have a lot of information and trivia to come.....stay tuned. |
