Where was photo on trailer taken? Our 35' Cigarette, "Conspiracy" is the red boat in the background but I do not recognize the venue. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that was taken in front of the old "Miami Marina" which is now called "Bayside." The truck towing Macho is the old Pantera Shop truck and it would have never gone on a long road trip.

The boat is now in New York. We spoke to a couple of shops in south Florida, but one thing or another didn't work out.

We were tossing around some ideas and the deciding factor was, that by bringing the boat to NY, Michael Aronow could become part of the project on a regular basis.

Michael is an attorney in NY and he has some very fond memories of these 32 footers being built. On top of that, Jimmy's shop was the same one that handled Tommy's redo of the 27 footer with the Cigarette livery that was in attendance at the Around Long Island race. That boat was restored as an 11 out of a possible 10......really beautiful.

This boat is meant to honor both a man, Don Aronow, and an era that really set the stage for offshroe racing for many years. We want it done correctly.

Many many thanks to Bob Sheer who provide the transportation with his semi, all the way from California to Florida and then up to New York. A very big thank you also to Catastrophe, who provided the funds for the Califonia to Florida portion of the trip.

We will be announcing very soon some fundraising ideas for the restoration. One of the ideas so far, is a lottery that the winner will get a ride in the boat next November in Key West , with me driving and Bobby Saccenti throttling the boat just like it was 1969 all over again......not for the faint of heart. LOL

CHARLIE,
ANY UPDATES TO REPORT ?
