one of them was at Talladega Speedway a few years back. it was complete.

Olli has a pic of the boat in question. The wooden double canopy boat is at the Motorsports Hall of Fame in Talladega....

I mailed the guy and asked him WHY scrap it.He said in the add he could not find anyone to buy it,so he was going to scrap.But he has a reserve on it and starts at I think 15,000. So why not start the bid at the price of scrap,said it weighted 17,000 lbs,if that's really what he intends to do and let someone buy it.Alum.is selling between 50-65 cents a lb.so I would LOVE to own it. Just crazy thing to do.Just my 2 cents. JOHN SR

I never understood how something so badass can just go to hell in such a short period of time. Missing pieces, seats left to weather, etc. Awesome boat, how did you acquire it?
