http://www.performanceboats.com/boats-sale/51716-liberator-offshore-w-v8s-$16k.html Monty Racing, the God of V-8's is a friend of mine and a 1/2hr away ;) He has built some spooky fast twin V-8 center consoles around here. A friend had one that ran right at 100 in it's hey day :) Would that be the dictionary definition of "sleeper"? With the new Direct Injected two stroke O/B's I think you could have the ultimate 25' - 30' twin O/B V bottom. W/a blank check you could probably go to a Progression or someone similar and have a near 100 MPH V-bottom w/twin 300's and 5 yr warrantys on the motors. Try that w/an I/O. There's a video floating around of a 21' V bottom w/a 250 HO E-Tec at 83 MPH and in the cockpit you can't even hear the motor running! Flat amazing what is currently available. |
A twin OB v8 28 sleek would be awesome. It'd sound like all hell broke loose when you put it too the stops... Even rough I probably would have jumped on that for me. If it happens to go back up let me know!

That sonic is really purtty but just a bit big for me and a little pricey! For now the old f150 has gotta pull her. I'm thinking 28 is top of my range especially with twins hanging off the back. Hopefully if everything comes together, something along these lones will be my winter project. Whats the latest on yours??? :drink:

Still screwing goodies on mine but have a long way to go. Going to take a break and finish another project I've been playing with. http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/l...pixs/013-1.jpg http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/l...pixs/002-7.jpg http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/l...pixs/002-9.jpg http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/l...s/DSCF1756.jpg |

Trying to put a 22 apache scout back together Chris I see the older mid's down here from time to time but mostly the later era. I have one on a '2000 225 I'm parting out that would work. The newer ones ('93 and up) are much better w/a much faster trim system. Only thing you would need to do is is replace your '91 cowling and pans and it would bolt right together. |
Twins, I definitely meant velocity, long day at the office. She's a wicked boat but still a little much right now. That little tunnel is gonna be hella fast and sound mean too!!! By the way, nice photography!
