Does anyone out there on this board actually own a Manta? Whether it be a 23, 28, 32 or other. These boats seem hard to come by. Any old pics esp. of the 28 sport deck (OB or IO) race or pleasure?

Theres a center console cat up here that says "Built By Manta Racing" on the side....same manta? Its a complete dog if it helps....28 foot...twin 300 mercs...65mph lol

We have a Manta 28 (the old Pitman Photo boat) that we race in Superboat. Used to be P5 but will be P4 this year due to those two classes combining.

And I was told to stay away from it and you snapped it right from my nose... took a look at it at 2009 KW while you guys was next to us ... Darn.. I like your boat still.

32 Manta
 

I own a 1990 Manta 32 w/ Twin Yamaha 250's. what would you like to know. I have many pictures.

I rode in a 24' Manta w/ a Johnson 300 V8. Nice boat, huge tabs. It's for sale on S&F. I ended up with a 24' AT though. The only thing I didn't like was that it didnt really have much of a cabin and if I stood up I would have to lean over to steer.

Open deck or closed deck. What kinds of speeds do you get with those Yamaha's? Pictures?
