Hiding the trim pump, possible cover?

My boat has an exposed engine, and the trim pump is UGLY as hell. What solutions have you guys come up with? I was going to clearcoat a case of beer and throw that over it for now. :)

I do like the clearing the beer case, that would be something different,,, but in todays world , cops see that and its a instant safety check regardless if its a cover

Good point. What else would work?

I had the same problem with batteries in my boat. I took some colored plexiglass and had it cut to make a 5 sided box. With some simple superglue and some velcro it worked out great. Any custom stereo or electronics shop should be able to make something up for you cheap and quick, or just do it yourself. hope this helps

This isn't a cover but this pic might give you some ideas on cleaning up the look of the trim pump.
