If you can, I would set it up as 3 motors. 3x 2.5efi
or 2 300xs motors.

They are heavy & you need the power to get it up & running.

I would run another drain line from the front to the back since you removed the gas tanks. It will help

With 3 2.5efi mine will run 85 mph in rough chop.
Not bad on gas.

What year is your shadow? What hp are the motors?

Good call on the drain line.

Mine is a 1996 Awesomecat.

3 x 2.5 225 promax efi.

With the big V8 you have alot of tork which is what you need to get the boat to run.

I also had the Pennsoil (shadowcat), which had 3 2.5 on the back.
Shadowcat was stuffed & needed alot of work so I sold it.

American Offshore, Awesomecat, ShadowCat & Chriscat were all the same mold.

Great rough water boat, eats up 5ft waves like nothing.

Work looks great, cant wait to see it finished,good luck,

Drain: Plastic pvc pipes under the gas tank all the way to the back.

My Awesomecat does not have any drain system & a pain in the Azz. :angry-smiley-038:

Are you painting the boat & gelcoat can be a nightmare, Thats what I did & must have spent a month sanding!

man this is gnna be a cool boat! it will be worth every second of the work you put in. no doubt about it. keep kickin ass!
