2ton- You can build a set of chevy small blocks for not that much money. Parts are plentiful, and really by the time you get done it would be Less work than an OB conversion.

If you want to sell then get some pictures on an ad.

GOOD LUCK!

I would like to know if this also aplies to Chris cats? I reacently acquired a Chris cat and plannig to place two 3.0L on it. This boat was first mounted with 454 inboards, later it was rebuild with two 2.5L mercury and later yamahas 250.In both moments with the outboard boat use to run with 2/3 of the pontoons on the water. Some people has told me that this to boats Shadows and Chris are really diferent from each other especially talking about wheigt. I figured out that the tanks where placed for inboards and I place them back as shadows have them that is like 3 feet from the transom, but i would like to know if thats enough or also i have to set back the motors, if i do, how much back? Also i have 25in shafts, if i use brackets to set back should i switck to 20in? i will really apreciate a answer to my message
