Restore 40 Skater 1996 Remenber?
 

does anyone remember the Restore 40 Skater , the year 1996 , How bad was it damaged in the race in puerto rico , Does someone have a photo of the boat before it was wrecked? or any photos or info on it at anytime of it life before being repaired? any info, opinions , photos ? anything at all , Thanks

what do you need to know? I have a big photo of it hanging in my office from 1997. if you track down Charlie Haimes he would have all you may need since he owned it then.

..............................i was trying to find out how it looked cockpit wise when it raced , was it open or enclosed + how it was set up , also being it wrecked in PR what was the extent of the damage , it is for sale now in Miami, no power or drives or rigging,, it has since been repaired. but is it O.K ? Thanks for your reply .

dont know what it looks like now but when raced it had twin enclosed F-16 canopies. it was raced as a Modified boat so it had #6 drives with carb 510 ci big chevy motors. I think Eddie Guardado did the repairs, if so then it would have been fixed right but I could be wrong on who did the repairs. if you send me an email at [email protected] I can send you a picture of it.
