Go to screamandfly.com and search it. Has been tons of them through there. Cool boat in the day but my buddy's is one of the few I've seen w/current power stay sunny side up.

Brownie built one a few years back, he put a 2.4 on it. He ran it a few times (Cruising 70+ at half throttle) then said (to himself) F-That and sold it. High 70's starts the danger zone in those, one good wind gust and you'll be buying new britches at the least :)

has run his for yrs w/no issues. I think he's into the mid 80's.
The issue that they run bow high to begin with. In a protected environment you're fine if you know what you're doing.
If you're some place where there is any wind gusting and your hanging it, you're going for a swim.

.................................................. .................................................. ...................You got that right throttleman, i remember when i was young i saw a Calson Contender ( Similar boat ) with about 6 people in it , + the only thing touching the water was the prop,It was cool as hell !

Modern version at...

95 mph.
Notice the front deck though. Was less surface area/lift.
You learn to be very sensitive to the trim buttons in a boat like that/this ;)
