Default 1982 32 Cobra Raceboat Restoration

My father rigged this boat originally at Harbor 1 back in 1982, and after almost 30 years shes comin back home. Jason and myself are going to restore her back to original, except for powertrain, and race it in OPA Class 4 in 2013. Ill post some original pictures soon, heres some of the current condition. The plan right now is to get the boat home in about 3 weeks, the trailer is on its way. Paint the deck, have all the hardware (dashes, motor mounts, etc) anadized gold like it was originally, paint deck, re-do the bolster and the stringers in the back of the boat.
Power will be twin Saris Racing 700 Stackers with XR drives.
Boat is a full stagger.
If Class 4 is looking weak that year, we will keep racing the Krypto in Class 5 and look for the mighty cobra on the poker run circuit as the Saris Racing Engines boat!

Very Cool! I've seen that boat at MDG, glad it's going to get the treatment it deserves.

Looking forward to following the project!

Thats gonna be a friggin good time to run. Check with steve1 on your initial Xdim for bravo's then dial it in from there.(other then danny) no one knows that staggered bravo setup on that hull more. I believe your gonna end up with a smile that won't go away
