Yeaah.. no kidding, but the helo was about 10-15' (+-) away, so it was just for a photo op.

Yea the river is deffiantly going to be a regular stop this summer, you go up to lake of the isles, heard piction is a good time nvr been there tho

TripleG, don't do anything to the boat! I can't tell from this thread if you own it or are just looking at it, but it sounds like this/will be your first boat. Get used to it with the 350sbc and alpha combo before you do anything. No need for big power, bravo, k-planes, etc yet. Just my $.02 and I was there not too long ago. Search the young owners thread I started and get an idea of what other people started with. A 22 Avanti is a REAL good start.

yea i put a down payment on it so once it comes out of storage and i hear run and drive it, its as good as mine, proably just going to leave it alone for a while and just enjoy it. I've grown up on a boat, and used my dad's 96 21ft chapparal with 350 and alpha pretty much every weekend these past 2 summers. But I hear what your saying, and yes i didnt think would be a bad start for being 21
