I just talked to chris and he said it was 36ft and 9.5 wide and originally it was a flat deck with 3 outboards, he does know the history on the boat maybe one of you guys can decifer where its been. It was definatly built for racing and was raced, it was not converted to a race boat. One of you guys should know the boat.
It was red, orange and blue with a white bottom and a orange trailer |
Man, if it was closer it would be mine! Sounds like an incredible project.

There was an ouboard Cigarette race boat in the 70's in NJ owned and raced by Tommy Mauro from Mauro Motors in Woodbridge, NJ. Recall 4 engines though and boat was green/orange or ornage/green. This was a race built boat, 3 man stand-up if I recall?
Billy Martin would have known this boat as his store at the time was only a few miles up the same road as Tommy's dealership on St George Ave. It could be this boat? |

Third Mistake was a 30 Scarab, not a Cigarette. But still a cool boat-only raced for one year?
