Hahahahahahaha it's about the 4th time that thing has been listed. Some people are just living in another world :bong:

Twin O/B Sonic 01-15-2013 07:56 AM

Amazing.
I shop every day and see enough to keep a comical thread going for ever. Some of them are absolutely hilarious. (hummmmhhhh? A thread in the bilge maybe??)
There's a 45' Sonic by me that started at $195K and I think is now $115K and been for sale for almost a yr. He's probably within $70K of what the thing is actually worth.
The worst are the ones you want to buy but the guy is so far out in space you know it will never sell.

LOTOWONTOPGUN 01-15-2013 08:03 AM

Does anyone know what it cost when it was new?

jhiguy377 01-15-2013 04:24 PM

i think thats the old "buckshot" was a michigan boat that Mike Bennett of shipwreck marine did a lot of work on for a brother in the city

dirtymike72 01-15-2013 08:03 PM

what is that boats actual value?

fleg1 01-15-2013 09:33 PM

NADA has it at 43280.00 trailer prolly another 5or 6g so right around 50g's is my guess!!!

HEY!!! Price is in the eye of the beholder (drinking) LOL. JOHN SR

sr73z 01-16-2013 07:33 PM

nice boat, but you can get a lot more for a lot less...crazy :bong:

topprop 01-16-2013 08:02 PM

There is an ass for every saddle. I'm sure the price is driven by the money recently spent on the engines and other "boat related" expenses we all know to well.
There may be a bank lien in need of satisfying or maybe he doesn't want to sell it but can't find a way to explain that to the Mrs. Hence the phrase "I have it for sale honey".
Whatever the case it looks like a nice fresh water boat for a guy who has 200k and really wants a 50 meteor.

agree 100%, it does look nice. I'd love to fill that thing full of people and pimp it to put-in-bay every weekend, and I know it would ride great on lake erie too, but at that $$ just don't see it happening. sweet old wellcraft though.

The guy that owned Buckshot did have a lot of money. He owned a cosmetics company that made Afrosheen, among other things. It had 3 blower motors in it back then.

Always remember that the price can always go down.......they never go up. Maybe he was fishing for a guy who has enough money that the price wouldn't matter.

Make an offer based on what you have to spend and see what happens. With these old boats cash in truly king and if nothing else you find out if it's for sale or not.

Btw, I agree 50' of scarab is a near perfect sled for that nasty body of water......man that bastard can get rough!
