"Real" Carreras where made off hwy 826 in Miami :). I don't know why/how the Cali co was using the name. Carreras where made by Cubin's, Not Californians (I'm from Miami :) ) |

I saw the picture on another site...
That "home made" trailer is just about the most ridiculous thing I've seen lately...and its actually causing damage to the hull. Oh my lord, I'd be walking away in a hurry. The boat is going to end up in the back seat of your tow vehicle when you touch the brakes for a red light....and do I really see that they have used an entire rear axle from a dually??? WTF??? If the trailer is any indication of how this guy does things...then I can't even begin to imagine the nonsense going on inside that boat. By the way, the skeg of the bottom of the outdrive isn't a damn kickstand for the boat to tilt back onto. Please do yourself a favor and bring someone with you that knows about boats, have a survey done by a professional, or at the very least bring the boat to a marina you trust and ask for a second opinion. Needless to say, that's not a Miami built Carrera...it looks like a Bayliner with a faring added to it. |
Found some better pictures. An interesting looking boat, not sure if its a go fast...anybody recognize this design.
Love the seats, http://www.seriousoffshore.com/forum...tml#post601006 |
