There were 2 30' "Damn Carreras." The first was raced by Humberto Picon. The last time I saw this boat it was at Skip Harper's shop headed to Puero Rico - same paint job but the number was changed to NC-17 frm S-111. The second was the old "Country Boys" boat that I ran with the Leonards. That boat was sold to Mandy Fernandez (The Jaguar/Ferrari Collection) and he copied the original Damn Carerra scheme. I then bought this boat from him and it was renamed "Karateka" and ran once coming in second to Carlos Capia in "Danger Zone" Holiday Isle, 1986. I sold the boat to Jose Rivera in Puerto Rico and that's where the boat was shipped to.

The 24 Molds were sold to Julio Deverona - became the 24' Scorpion. When Scorpion split up I got the 24 and 21 Molds. Sold the 24's to a group out of Dallas. They were in bad shape. The last 24 hull and deck out of the mold went to a guy from Coshocton, OH. |
