Older Mercruiser Alarm Horn Replacement. 816492A14
 

I really like the 30 second delay to allow the oil pressure to build up (And not be annoyed as soon as the ignition is turned on)
It appears that the replacement reference part 86047A11 does not have the delay.

The timer Sylvania TR2032 is a 12Volt time delay relay (~30 seconds) with three connectors in a small 3/4" cylindrical can, 1.25" long.

I believe I found a replacement in ECHLIN AR613 available from NAPA.
The specs appear to be the same, The pictures appear identical.

Has anyone substituted the ECHLIN AR613 for the Sylvania TR2032?

We have been looking for over two years and gave up. Let us know if the NAPA unit works....what was the cost? Did you find the horns that came with the Merc alarm unit?
