That is the old Anacapri line. The owner of Anacapri was killed in a shootout over a boat deal. Beachcraft was owned by Chino and Alberto. Two of the original Seahawk riggers. Alberto raced in the M-17 Seahawk, P-68 Seahawk (my boat) and the P-68 Shogun boat.

They were pretty good boats. They also had a 28 CC that was a 'pop' of a 28 Baha CC. I like the 25 Anacapri hull. They were pretty good with a pair of Volvo 280's.

If you need to put a 81/2 ft. wide boat in a 8 ft. container you build the shipping cradle at a angle to fit...it works. Bud

.....an 8' container is only 7'8" wide inside - just a FYI if you were not already aware

How long is the boat ride to Columbia?

Something to check out with the shipping companies - check if you can put a wider beam boat into a "FLAT RACK" container? These have solid end walls but open sides and top. You, in theory, could go with a wider beam but still not impede the gantry cranes from loading the containers on and off the ship. You still have to mind the height limitations but I would imagine there could be a 9'6" version just like the containers..... Your boat would have to ride on top of the stack and be susceptible to the weather but it could be a few $K less and open you up to a boat that you want and not just a boat that will fit a container.

Securing it could be interesting!

Flat Rack or "Roll on, roll off" if you can get a deal on a trailer.
