Excalibur 30 Cat -Connor Marine Engineering Boat
Well, not that I planned on this but I have inherited a x-John Connor Excalibur Cat. I did some research on this boat including calling John ( he was kind enough to speak to me about this boat - he is a true gentleman and professional). I also spoke to Dan at Archer Marine in Costa Mesa, Ca. They both did indeed remember this boat - had a lot of different engines and set-up's in this hull. The boat has sat outside for a while now but looks to be in fair condition. I plan on hooking batteries up next weekend, changing the oil, running some test on the 454's, then maybe turning them over. The Kaama props are hiding but are said to be there somewhere. The Kevlar hull is in great condition - no chips or gouges.
I don't know where to begin - sell the parts, sell the boat as a whole, or make a long restoration project out of if...... Any Ideas????? |
post up some pics so we can see what you're working with, rm

I posted a couple of pics on the "photos" section - can't seem to figure out how to post them on my profile

Without seeing Pics I'm gonna say this boat is/was a 30' Flight Cat, Just like "Sheer Terror" or "MMMmmmmmm" The Molds where leased by Excaliber, I think Chris Craft may have made some as well. There is a Center Console version of it somewhere...I seen it :)

Thanks Lee for posting the pics - I guess I will be upgrading my membership so I can post pics - whatever I end up doing with the boat. It deserves more than just sitting out in the pasture.
