Take the Glass/frame off, cut out the bow section, loose the engine bay bulkhead and fill in the floor section and out drive cut outs... add an Armstrong bracket and your 200's - you could have quite a boat....It has a full liner so the work to convert to an open bow should be limited

If it was only that easy, NOT !!!! The way Donzi built these the transoms is most likely rotted out. The main stringers end @ the engine bulkhead & they are encased with the deck liner. If you just put a Armstrong bracket on the transom with out rebuilding the hull for OB's it will fall off. If this hull has been uncovered for any time I'm sure all the wood is wet. I found on my Donzi the factory did not seal the hardware & water would infiltrate the wood. Here a few pic's of what I found on mine & I'm not alone with what I found, it's been a common problem.

Ratman,

If that Donzi 24 w/twins interests you, you may like this Formula 242 w/Twins and it doesn't appear to be a "project"...both are in my area, if you ever need some eyes on them let me know.
