Default what is the build quality of a 21 velocity, who designed teh hull?

look like the little weasel i had a deal with to buy his 18 foot manta sold it out from under me... was trying to get him a deposit but he has no paypal ect. and promised he would hold onto it until i got to miami this sunday.. so im looking for a small runbout that will behttp://miami.craigslist.org/brw/boa/4025054279.html easy on fuel...

i came across this 21 velocity of which im not familiar... thx in advance for any info on teh boat...rm

My guess judging by the picture is the Easy-up is 10x10 so the boat look like 21'

That may be a 22 from the waterline down, but thats not a Velocity deck, Ricks Pantera is 1000 times the boat. I loved my 24 Pantera

i thought smallest velocity was a 22. if it is a velocity, that year it is a steve stepp built boat. very good build quality, but i dunno why anybody would saw the top off and make into a jon boat. they are fast, (they beat panteras these days) but with the big flat pad they can be a little rough on the a$$ in big water. get the hull number and double check what it is. then buy ricks pantera...
