Old 36 Eraf
As in the description, here is how the old 36 Cigarette Named Eraf ended in Tuscany as a Sporty CC

How sad but at least they seem to have done a nice job.

I will never understand.

It is not hard to figure out. There is no ready market for classic boats like there is for cars. You have to do these restores because you want to. Unfortunately when you want to move on there is only so much room in the garage and you have to find a way to make it go. In my case I have refused a dozen offers because the buyers were clearly interested in just parting it out and I have too much of an attachment to allow it to be gutted. So three years later it is still in the garage collecting dust. I am seriously considering reconfiguring the deck to allow for a six-pack configuration in hopes that it will be more attractive for the poker run market as a compromise. At least in Eraf's
present configuration it is getting use and marketable to a larger consumer base. |

If you read an old thread of my 36 there is a pic of the boat (last name it has had as a 36 normal boat was alfred) before the conversion. I think in the forum there is also the guy who followed the entire process.

If only the boat had come up for sale in more recent times prior to being converted - for sure she would have been bought and restored. My dream boat.
