Twin turbo 409's from record setting boat
 

I posted in the general discussion section but figured this section would relate more to the topic. I came across these twin turbo Chevrolet 409's ("W" engines) from the 60's in a nearby shop. Talk about being ahead of the times. I was told these two were the only two in existence and were used to power a boat that set the record from Miami to NY (maybe in the 60/70's?) that stood for years. Anyone remember anything about the boat or these motors? Very cool piece of history
