Looking for Aeromarine 1 in Sweden?

Hey I am looking for information on the original Cigarette Aeromarine 1 that some guy in Sweden, restored.

There was a thread on here some time ago about the restoration of the boat over in Europe.....I think it was in Sweden.

Can anybody help find the thread or lead me to a,contact with the guy in Europe?

The original American owner that bought the boat from Carl Kiekhefer would like to get it back and bring it back to America.

All help appreciated.

The past owner was looking for Aeromarine I and it was BAM. I put them in touch with each other to work out a possible deal.

Marc told me he had made some changes and with the last power he was running, the boat ran at 106 MPH. Not bad for such a heavy non - stepped boat from the 70's.

Hopefully. deal can be made to satisfy both parties and we can have another old school racer restored.

Jeff I am working on it, but nothing definite yet.

If it locks in, I will let you know.

How is your brother doing with the book?
