AMAZING!! Fabulous work! So glad to see this restored. So much win!

Proof of how good this boat was when it was new and now brought back to 'as new' (or better)....... 3/4 throttle with small props and 100 MPH. Who needs steps? Not me.
I would have more fun cruising that at 50-60 knowing the full potential than I could have in any of the brand new boats available today. Great bit of history and a beautiful restoration. :) Thanks for documenting everything on OSO. RR |

Thanks too all that have followed this build yesterday was an amazing time for myself and the owner after 2 years of my live put into this project. My stress level has finally come down to more normal level as you can imagine not knowing how it was going to perform if it was even going to get on plane. Just so many things to keep track of. But now the fun begins prop testing and dialing it in. The props we tested with yesterday were a little on the small side at 3/4 throttle I was at 5800 on the center motor with only 7 PSI boost and 100 MPH. We had 17.5 x 31s on the out board drives and a 17.5 x 29 on the center. So I am on the look out for some 17.5 x 33s 2 rights and a left if anyone knows of any please let me know Thanks again for all of the support I will keep you up to date on the testing as it progresses, Regards Dan MacNamara, Team Archer Marine.

Congratulations! Thank you Thank you. Enjoy your accomplishment. These post are great for historical documentation of this boat. I understand the majority of society is not interested in this (boats). Yet to us and many others these are engineering marvels. We take it for granted and overlook many aspects. It takes chemistry, science, mathematics, architecture, etc to build these vessels.

We are planning on running 5 blade props but we had 4 blades to test. The drive ratio is 1.36
