Ok, stupid question, was this and eat and drink event only, or did any of you go out and run to someplace and back?

I always thought the best pics were with boats in action and flying off waves . . .;-)

Mario I have done this event since 2008 as a meet & greet, it's more like a in water hot boat show, now with Chip Miller on board it can only get better. There is no registration or fees just show up & have fun. If there are boaters who want to run there boats their are plenty of poker runs out there to enter, this is not one of them. By the numbers we have had over the years this seems to be working as we had boats from Ohio & Minnesota attend . Mark

Mark!

Remember when the Ontario Offshore Powerboat Association team up with the Old School Reunion and held a Fun Run. Some of the local boaters complained about the Fun Run, saying it was boring running down the Detroit River to in front of Downtown Detroit and Windsor and back. The negative comments from those who have done nothing to enhance an event, only hurts any efforts made by others who tried to make a difference. You are right that the Old School Reunion is a meet and greet of many Older Performance boats and you have done a great job pulling that off. Andy

Andy I remember that fun run you had & all the hard work your group did. It's a sad day when having many who said they would attend not show up only to cost your group out of pocket money you did not need to spend. That's one reason we like to keep it simple. Mark

Mark!

The way you run the OLD School Reunion is great. Maybe we might bump into each other at the St. Clair River Classic this weekend. Take Care.
