Thanks for the recommendations. They were both great reads. The amount of drugs and money that went through Miami is incredible. Hard to believe that Jon was in the situations he was and still is alive to tell about it. Crime paid for at least one man.

What I thought was crazy in American Desperado as it relates to our sport was Jon stating he was introduced to the Colombians by Don Aronow’s son. Jon said he used to hang out at Dons Cig plant on 188th street and bought multiple boats from him. Out off all the books on Aronow and I’ve never heard this before. Chapter 41 is very interesting as it relates to Don. |
