I've owned this boat for past 28 yrs. This is a Twin BBC/TRS boat from the factory ( Last 28' manufactured for the US market, the rest went to the Middle East). First pic is Corpus Christie race. Third pic is Virginia Bch Nat race with Bob Teague at the helm (my driver was injured and Bob volunteered to drive).
Plan is to do semi-period correct re-rig ( single BBC/SSM ). Nothing fancy , just want it back on the water.
I was based in Hollywood,Fl area. OPBRA member.
My father rigged for Miller / Saccenti ,and with the lack of child labor laws , I was forced to sort stainless nuts and bolts , sweep floors , ect. Luckily , I was allowed to tag along for testing on some nice equipment ( 44MSV Popeye , 44MSV La Tortuga, ect.).
