Subscribing. Interesting to follow this resto. Glad You're sticking to a single and the color-matched floatation bracket should look contemporary cool. This might match a, local to me, Team Scarab 26 CC by Larry Smith. 30 years ago there weren't many true CC sport boats in this size. The Scarab later came as the 26 Sprint or Sportster by WellCraft as is well-known, and many were powered with twin 150s or 200s. However, tuned single was the way to go for best handling and speed since the Scarab only had a 6'10" beam. Here she is. Bet You dig the color choice. Resto by legendary Team Archer Marine.
G.L.W. resto. Btw, Your 29 Mirage gotto be next. ;) https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...5af51abe2e.jpg |

As for colors, I like Blue #1 and then Blue #3 combined with Silver #1. I'm not sure how it would look on a large boat, but I really like the huge metal flake from the 70's. I have seen it used successfully on motorcycle fuel tanks and fenders, but that's a smaller surface area. A lot of the bass boats use large metal flake in the gelcoat, but they usually have multiple colors in the overall paint scheme. I also like your idea to include a panther and the original font Pantera lettering.
As for the boat yes I did get it like that with the sport deck cut of and that’s one of the reasons I got it saved me a lot of time, I really don’t like the sport/closed deck boats there just isn’t enough room inside for the gang inside them. As for the mold next to it that is the mold for a 29’ Mirage. The deck is going to be low I’m taking it all the way down to the outside chime. Thanks for for taking the time and post buddy |

What’s up guys this is just a heads up I’m going to be making a new profile under my new company name #1 Marine Boat Works because I am applying for my MIC# and I realized that there is another company locally with a name very familiar to mine and I don’t think it is in any of our interest to be some familiar regardless who had it first. I will I’ll be responding to this same post under the new profile up dating the process. Sorry for the confusion, but just happy I noticed this now before all the MIC information was sent out. |
