Says saber 270 on the side but it's not 27 ft.

Bear in mind that people can have vinyl graphics made up to say anything and then apply them to whatever they want to. Same goes for painted lettering .
The big question is .. what does the HIN on the transom say ?
It looks like one of those 24x7 boats for sure though .

I get the graphics thing. I'm a painter and my girlfriend owns a graphics shop. The reason I bought the boat. I saw potential!

I was in a real Excalibur a long , long time ago and if my memory serves me correctly it sure was near identical to yours . The thing is , I believe that the molds ended up being used by a good number of other builders . P&D and Martini come to mind . On that subject , there's a load of discussion on here already .

as stated many,,,many boats were made from the 24/7 bottom,,,,,they just changed the top deck some on the different brands
was 1 of the most popped bottoms out there in the 80-90s,,,,,,,,
the original 27 Excalibur was flat deck till 80-81 then made the raised deck version 81-82
farmer sold the 27 Excalibur raised deck molds to welcraft in 82 and welcraft made the boat 83-85,,,,activator popped a mold off of it and made their 27 from it
but welcraft also got the Excalibur name rights and used the name on many models in the yrs following
fountain got the 31 molds and made his 1rst boats the 10 meter from that bottom with a beak added
WEL is welcraft MIC code and didn't make that 24 in 1980
probably from original or copy molds that used a homeade code to register it
cool ole boat though,,,,
