Eike is in jail, or maybe even deceased by now. His fortune was literally financed by Petrobras (Brazil’s national petroleum consortium), and that in itself was illegal, as Petrobras is a Public company. Petrobras heads, stole money by diverting it into investments, the returns were basically “laundered money”

Eike wasn’t a violent criminal, he just made his fortune with illegal funds, and got busted, thus losing it ALL

Petrobras was busted financing political candidates (a no-no under Brazilian Laws), a detailed investigation into its books brought to light all the illegal funds diversion, amongst them, Eike’s companies…..and thus he became a casualty
