magnum marine 25
I have a Magnum 25 no engine, had a single I/0. going to repower, would a single outboard on bracket be a good match? or stick with an I/0 package?

i think 12 meter joe on here has one restored with a 1000hp blower engine. there is nothing like the sound and excitement of a single healthy V8 in the engine room!

I've done a number of re-powers, so I hope sharing this helps you If you are going to repower it yourself, the I/O would be the simplest. The outboard will likely require a different X Dimension, so if you haven't done a conversion before, you would have to experiment (guess) with the X-Dimension. The impact to CG (center of gravity) also needs to be taken in account. In addition, the rarity of a 25 Magnum means you have few, if any people who may have done that conversion, so likely no one to provide you guidance. A good rigging shop could do the conversion, but it depends on your budget.
