I have a 48 foot ocean Express cat run serface drives 1.33 gear ratio. My question is currently the motors are set up to turn inward. Meaning I have one counter rotator. I also have the transmission set up to turn in the same direction one to one. The boat has a hard time getting on plane is it because of the direction of the props or something else like the prop pitch etc. also do most cats run with the props turning in or out I’m not looking to break any world speed records I’m just looking for a usable boat that will go anywhere I want to Safely being the key. Any input would be great thank you

Engine power and props being used would be a good start to get help.

Yes my bad, the prop I Have to use for now is a 5 blade 17x 35p and hp is around 800+ not more than 900hp

you need t have one engine running in rev , active cats turn inward .
