24 Excalibur advice

Good evening all. I am in the process of purchasing a 1977 original 24 Excalibur, and wondering if I could get some feedback from previous or present owners of this iconic boat. Is there any problem areas I should be concerned with besides the obvious, Transom, stringers, and floor.

Take a hard look at the gelcoat, look for cracks in the gelcoat below the water line. Not unheard of to have to have the entire boat regelcoated.

Ok thanks. What about performance? She has a stock 454.

Maybe 60 with a TRS drive, and if it's been upgraded to a Bravo you'll certainly be in the 60 for sure. These are skinny, quick, and wild rides.

Thanks all for your responses. Seller was not co-operative so I decided to go a different route.
