I doubt that. The hull is indeed of a special quality which makes it possible to handle high horsepowers. But in the end it will always be just a 17ft boat so the driver needs to know what he is doing.
To each their own. But you wont convince me otherwise. |

Only place ive ever seen them is on tiktok with people driving around with the nose way up to get views and likes. They arent fast for the power or do anything any other boat like that wont do.

This is also a 24-degree at the transom design and with a water tunnel at rest, it's practically stable. The design also has a 'Carolina Flair' and it comes in handy since it often gets mighty rough and choppy in Scandinavian waters. The inexperienced kids, both young and old, are the ones you see flying them on TikTok. Take a look at this video and maybe you will see why Scandinavians are still into their old Fjordling boats. It's not just nostalgia, a skillful driver can really kick some a.. in one of these 17' weapons. |
Thank you for sharing the video!
There are a couple of Fjordlings for sale in Norway right now. |
Impressive

Hi!
You can buy new built ones / or order one to be built for you. Not bad price at all. And add all the goodies you want. I rather do that instead of paying USD 75K.... In my view it's only a matter of time we see a serious accident. Some are rigged really bad, too tall, too sloppy. Other are neat and fast as hell. The nicest one being one with inboard. And proved to be best balanced and fastest. Very nice design, but it's not a big boat - and you need to rig it wisely. In my view a Merury 2.5 EFI would be great :) Cheers Toffen |
