I have a 30 w/300's and run regular 24P bravos. I'm thinking about picking up a set of bravo FS's for next season. I'm reading that they are the best for the 30 anyway.

Currently the boat has 23 pitch 3 blade Mirage props.

I've only had it to 65 mph and climbing but that was just a short burst and just a touch of trim on the motors. This is very different feel from my last boat (34 Phantom) so I am taking my time to get the proper feel of the boat. On the Garmin it shows the previous owner top speed of 71.6. I hope to play a little more in the next 3 weeks as I will be using it down in Florida while on Vacation. I do know that at 3500 rpm its about 34 MPH at 4000 rpm I think I was 42 mph. This was with 160 gallons of fuel and 6 adults on board and fresh water tank full

based off of the previous max speed and 23 props and max rpm of 6400 that a slip around 10%. These boats take some getting used to over 65. I would say just keep putting in the seat time until you are spinning the 23s 6400 and want more speed. I had 25 M+ on my 30 with 350s and was ventilating them out of the hole, if this is the case I would go up to 24 Bravo FS, the bravos run about 1" short on pitch but should give you a bit less slip with the 4 blade

what hole are your motors mounted in? top hole sets the motors lowest, bottom hole would have the motors highest.
Do you have a digital readout of trim? if so what trim are you running?

yes I plan to get seat time before any changes are made. Thanks for your info

I will check to see what holes the motors are in I will be back there Saturday

My port Tab seems to have to be at 2 to 4 to level the boat

Motor trim in minimal as I am still getting used to the boat, I would like to run the boat without passengers. It is completely different than my last boat (34 Phantom). With that said I have many hours behind the wheel of many different Center Consoles, as as in easily over 2000 hrs.

The general consensus is that these boats run best with Bravo 1 FS, I am running 24" right now and the pitch seem dead on. I am still chasing stability over 70. Im going to give a set of 5 blades a try in the spring will let the community know how that works out for me.
