Canopy bolts
1 Attachment(s)
I have several bolts on my canopies that I have to tighten on a regular basis. I am cautious about putting to much torque on them for fear of starting a crack. Anyone use thread lock or can I really crank on them?

are lock-nuts used or regular nuts? I wouldnt crank on em,, I'd try replacing the nuts with new SS locknuts
From the cabin, buttons are on the nuts, I'll pull one off and check.
if there coming loose they are probbly anchor bolts
I believe they thread directly into the fiberglass. Not real sure there is much you can do. I will call Dave and get an answer.
Thanks for checking, Eric

Just spoke to DCB. They secure theirs with PST. DO NOT TORQUE them down tight. The canopies WILL crack. I've done it!!!
