28 extreme hp-br

Hi.
I am looking at DCB 28 bow rider on the web. I currently have a 29 fountain and we boat at Lake of the Ozarks. I would like a performance boat but looking for information on how well they run in ruff water conditions . Looks like a sit down boat and wonder if you feel the shock of the waves. How effective are there hulls and do they have drive proplem since they come in a single drive. What else to look out for. Most sensation boats come with 496 motor. I want something with performance in mind. Thank you

Best bet would be to ask this question over on Riverdavesplace.com. Theres a couple guys over there who have had them. They're a "sit down" boat (only because I don't think they had drop out bolsters), but they have a lot of freeboard and a good amount of room in them. They're good hulls and theres several out there that run over 100 with a big single.

Great boat in rough water. Mine has a Merc600 with a stage III whipple on it. Runs 90+, but I keey it in the 60's most of the time. I just had mine completely redone, including new interior. Motor has less than 20 hours on it since the whipple upgrade, which also included having the top end done. Boat handles the rough water great. The bolsters do pull up so driving while standing is an option...On a side note, everything is for sale for the right price.
