Engine Paint
 

I have 502's that were done by Cheif. They are a beautiful canary yellow. any advice on where to find paint to touch up the engines? Paint is peeling off where the intake meets the head.

call tommy at chief for the color code of your paint. try to get it in a single stage. dont forget to get the correct hardener for it. for brush touch ups you won't need reducer. if tommy doesn't have the color code, call your local auto paint jobber and see if they have a paint computer image system. dupont for instance has a system that can take three pictures of the color and mix a blendable match from the information gathered from the picture. most of the larger paint munufacterers have a similar system. tow the boat over and have them match you up. or if any of your accesories are that color un bolt it and run it over for a paint match. shouldn't be a big deal to match. ratman
