So many different opinions, so little consensus....

Re: oxidation removal & waxing
I know. It's enough to make your head spin  . That's why we developed the Frenzy line. We tried 'em all and even the "best ones" had drawbacks.

Re: oxidation removal & waxing
Frenzy, I have your wax and wash concentrate on order right now thru SW. Usually I give the boat 2 coats of Mequires Marine wax before the start of the season, but I take it you suggest just 1 coat of wax? Is that with all waxes or just yours?
Thanks |
Re: oxidation removal & waxing
I bought some Frenzy last year and must say its some good stuff. I'll be placing another order when this bottle is gone!! I've also used the 3M and the Meguires. The Frenzy went on easy as well as came off with easy and left a great shine. I normally put it on by hand and use and orbital with a wool pad to remove.

Re: oxidation removal & waxing
The majority of waxes on the market coat your paint or gel with a layer of product. Waxing Frenzy! was formulated to bond with the surface, feeding it, not coating it.
The same engulfing agent that encapsulates the dirt and contamination lifts away a previous wax application and replaces it with itself. That's why you never get a wax buildup with Waxing Frenzy! Therefore, to apply a second coat (as much as I would like to sell twice as much product :evilb: ) would be a waste of time and money. The exception would be an oxidized boat that may require a second coat to even out the finish. The gel or paint may be "thirsty" and it will "suck in" what it needs. Think of it as applying lotion on your skin. Apply a little and it may not be enough. Re-apply and your skin is soft. Apply too much and you are just smearing it around. FYI: The Wash & Wax will definitely help in maintaining the just waxed shine. It is positively and negatively charged to bond with any paint, gel, or other wax. Hope this answers your question. |
Re: oxidation removal & waxing
Thanks! Looking forward to using your wax this weekend.

Re: oxidation removal & waxing
Frenzy.
The Shark Tower looks to be mainly for rust / oxidation removal. Is this also the product you would use for medium oxidation removal on gel coat? Or would you go with a light coumpoud (like 3M), and then follow up with the Frenzy final coat? Thx |
Re: oxidation removal & waxing
The beauty of Shark Tower is that you can compound with it and you don't have to go over it with wax. We developed it to remove rust and oxidation from metal and the gelcoat surrounding the hardware. When we buffed our first boat with it, the results were amazing (even to us). Shark Tower has wax in it, which is what protects the metal after it is cleaned. Same applies to gelcoat.

I e-mailed you and left you a message. I apologize for the delay. We just terminated our distributor contract due to similar problems. I am sending your products out today, along with an extra bottle of Waxing Frenzy. Please do not think this is the way we do business. Each of our customers is valuable to us and we strive to provide the best customer service possible. We have been out of town this week, so just got your messages. |
