painting bottom?

Sorry but I have a stupid question. How do you spray the bottom of the boat when it is sitting on jack stands? I am planning on using ale craft 2000 on the entire boat.

If it was me , I'd put the boat on two 8' long 4X4's (or something else appropriate) standing on cinder blocks. That way you can roll it on one side at a time . Seems that unless the boat is hanging by lifting eyes you will only be able to do one side at a time .

You can block it on a side, paint one side to the keel then block it on it's other side and blend it along the keel. Or drain everything and roll the boat over.

I aasume your spraying the Awlcraft and you want a nice shiney finish and your not talking about antifouling "bottom paint"

How big is this boat and what facilities do you have access to? I have always had the bow lifted on a stand( which was moved to paint and quickly placed back under with 1/2inch off the stand and the rear was chocked as far back as possible (stop painting a foot away from the stands) and wasn't painted until the next day when the chocks were moved forward so it could be blended. The AwlCraft is good for that.
